Her Excellency Mrs Sabah Zita Benson delivered a keynote address at a high-level hybrid fireside discussion hosted by ODI Global in London, in collaboration with the Bank of Ghana, the 24-Hour Economy Secretariat, and the United Kingdom’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).
The programme brought together stakeholders across both countries, with sessions hosted in Ghana by the Bank of Ghana and participation from London joining virtually.
In her address, H.E. underscored the importance of strong diplomacy, regulatory coherence, and resilient institutions in shaping a sustainable UK–Ghana trade architecture. She highlighted Ghana’s flagship initiatives, including the 24-Hour Economy and Accelerated Export Development Programme, and called for deeper collaboration in digital trade, infrastructure, and value-added industries to drive inclusive and sustainable growth.
